Not a theme park. Not a loot treadmill. A living world built on scarcity, consequence, and community legend. Your choices matter. Your path is not guaranteed.
Not every class exists in abundance. Not every path is available to everyone. Some roles are rare. Some are fated. When someone becomes something extraordinary… the server remembers.
You are not meant to do everything alone. You will need crafters, explorers, protectors, and specialists. When you see a rare class in town, you will know their name.
Progression is not handed to you through checklists. At key moments you will face Trials that test awareness, courage, and judgment. You do not select a class from a menu — you prove yourself worthy of one.
You choose your race — that is your one certainty. You level. You learn. You grow. And at Level 5, you face your first Trial. Fail, and your character is gone forever. Succeed, and your path opens. There are no second chances.
Choose your race. Learn the land. Level through discovery, not checklists.
At Level 5, survive the Trial. Choose your class — or let fate decide. Failure is permadeath.
At Level 60, choose: take the Trial for a subclass, or stay pure and reach Level 80 with deeper mastery.
A rare class with a rare subclass. The odds are astronomical. When it happens, the server knows.
Your first Trial. It cannot be AFK’d. It cannot be brute-forced. Failure is permadeath — your character is gone forever.
Survive, and you choose your class. Or… you surrender that choice and let the gods decide.
At Level 60, you face a choice: take the second Trial, or refuse it and level to 80 as a pure single-class, unlocking deeper mastery in your existing path.
Failure is permadeath. Succeed, and you choose a subclass — or once again, let the gods decide.
At each Trial, instead of choosing your path, you may declare:
At the Awakening, fate may grant you a rare class — something unavailable through normal selection. At the Reckoning, it may grant a rare subclass.
You may only invoke fate once per Trial, per account, per server. The odds of receiving both a rare class and a rare subclass on the same character are astronomical. When it happens, the server will know.
This is not a reroll mechanic. It is a covenant.
You are not spamming cooldowns. You are making decisions. Risk matters. Positioning matters. Timing matters. Power often comes with a cost. Victory feels earned.
Death is not trivial. It carries weight — not in a way that prevents play, but in a way that demands respect. You do not charge into danger carelessly. You prepare. You coordinate. You adapt.
A battle-mage who trades life for power — then pours that power into allies to tip war's scales.

Realm Foundry is a pre-packaged, fully playable MMO world that anyone can host on their own server. It ships with a complete base world — classes, races, zones, quests, dungeons, and systems — ready to play out of the box. But every piece of it can be modified, extended, or rebuilt by the host.
Launch a server and play immediately. The base world includes a full roster of classes, a progression system, crafted zones, dungeons, quests, and the Trial system. No assembly required.
Server hosts have tools to shape every layer of the world. Create from scratch or modify what already exists.
One server might add entirely new classes and remove others. Another might build custom raid encounters no other server has. A third might run a hardcore permadeath ruleset with brutal Trial tuning. Every realm becomes its own world with its own identity.
Zones, encounters, classes, and stories can be built, packaged, and shared between servers. The world grows — not through seasonal resets, but through meaningful additions from hosts and the community.
Realm Foundry is open by design. Host it, mod it, make it yours. The base world is the starting line — where your server goes from there is up to you.
Most modern MMOs have optimized away wonder. Realm Foundry brings it back.
You are not the hero of a scripted campaign.
You are a name in a world that remembers.
And if you are bold enough… you may become legend.
Every server develops its own legend. There is no universal meta. There is no global sameness. Host your own world, shape its rules, and let your community write the story.
